The organizational meeting of TCRW was held on September 10, 2020. There were fourteen Charter members and six Associate Members. Elected Officers were: President - Wilda Barton, Vice-President - Wuisayo Kuciemba, Secretary - Kathy Spoon, PAC Treasurer - Wilda Barton, Parliamentarian - Terrie Simpson, Club Bylaws and Standing Rules were presented and approved. TCRW was Chartered by Texas Federation of Republican Women on October 17, 2020 and by National Federation of Republican Women on January 15, 2021.
With only a couple of months as a group, with a lot of hard work TCRW put on a Trump parade on November 1, 2020 in support of President Trump. Between seventy-five and a hundred vehicles participated.
October 8, 2021, State Representative James White was guest speaker, sharing with TCRW Texas Legislative priorities.
The Republican Women of Trinity County came and conducted a "Nuts and Bolts" training session to help TCRW to achieve our mission and purpose on March 20, 2021.
TCRW had a booth at the Tyler County Dogwood Festival on April 4, 2021. Copies of the US Constitution and bookmarks with information about TCRW was handed out and flag stickers given to children.
In April each Senior at each High School in the county was given a copy of the US Constitution.
A native Texan, born in Port Arthur, married to Johnny Barton. A Christian of the Baptist faith, Conservative Republican, retired Registered Nurse. Philosophy is God, Country and Family in that order because a Country without God is totally helpless and a Family without a Christian Country is totally hopeless.
Current homemaker. Mother of two girls and one boy, wife of Rusty Kuciemba. Raised in Pearland, Texas and living in Tyler County since 2015. Has represented Tyler County as a delegate at every Republican Party of Texas state convention since becoming a Tyler County resident. Enjoys coaching daughter’s softball team and learning photography.
Graduated from the University of Mary Washington from Fredericksburg, Virginia in Liberal Studies, retired from Mckesson Hospital Laboratory Sales Division after 24 years, was appointed to the Lower Neches Valley Authority Board of Directors representing Tyler County by then Governor George W. Bush in 1998 serving 8 years and in 2017 established Henderson Design, Interior Design Company for home and office. I received training as a pageant judge in 2019 from the Miss America Miss Texas organization. Lois has been married for 37 years to David Henderson, retired Marine Corp officer and retired Assistant U.S. Attorney Eastern District of Texas. We have 4 children and 6 grandchildren.
